Billed as the Oscars of winter film, the Coldsmoke Awards have been bestowed in Bozeman during an evening ceremony celebrating the artists and films inspired by life in the mountains. Among the notable winners was Jeremy Jones’ Higher from Teton Gravity Research, which received the Explorer’s Award recognizing the film that is pushing geographic and personal exploration to the furthest.
The People’s Choice Award went to Soulryders Productions for Kashmir. Here’s a rundown of the winning entries:
