Four Grand Prix honors and the induction of director Keith Rose into the Hall of Fame were among the highlights at the 36th annual Loerie Awards, which recognize the best work producd in the brand communication industry in Arica and the Middle East.
The four Grand Prix recipients were:
o Grid Worldwide Branding (Pty) Ltd for Anti Est's “Anti Est #Unlearn” in Design Mixed-Media Campaign.
o One Kingdom Creative Studio for Mi-Fone's “Oju Africa App” in Digital & Interactive – Mobile Applications & Sites
o FCB South Africa (PTY) LTD for Coca-Cola South Africa's “A rainbow for the Rainbow Nation” in Outdoor Media.
o And Ogilvy & Mather Johannesburg for Lucozade's “Give me strength”.
Meanwhile Rose, director and founding partner of production house Velocity Films, was inducted into the Loeries Hall of Fame, for his outstanding contributions and ongoing commitment to the brand communication industry. Velocity had a strong showing at this year’s Loerie Awards competition, scoring a total of 13 awards–three Golds, two Silvers, two Bronzes and six Craft Certificates.
