Denis Villeneuve named recipient of Cinema Audio Society’s Filmmaker Award
Director Denis Villeneuve will receive the Cinema Audio Societyโs Filmmaker of the Year Award at the 61st CAS Awards on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at The Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, Calif.

Villeneuve is an Academy Awardยฎ-nominated French-Canadian filmmaker whose astute attention to detail and unique visuals have established him as one of the premier directors working today. โDune: Part Two,โ the monumental continuation of โDune: Part One,โ and conclusion of Frank Herbertโs novel Dune, was released to critical acclaim earlier this year.
