We open on a house that’s dark inside only to realize that we’re looking at the interior of a dollhouse when we see a real girl outside, who looks like a giant in comparison, peering through a window. She presses a button to turn on a light inside the dollhouse. The light comes on briefly before flickering off.
She then turns and exhales, blowing out a gust of air that moves the drapes of an open window in the real house she’s in. The gust travels past the window and has a ripple effect on the outside world–wind chimes move, leaves fly about, foliage rustles. A kid on a bike notices the breeze’s effect as he sees trains and cars moving at a rapid rate and then ultimately so too do rows and rows of windmills situated in a vast field.
We hear a whirring sound as the windmill power builds. A supered message against a dark backdrop appears: “The future will be brighter.”
The spot then cuts back to the girl as we see the lights come on in the house–as well as in the dollhouse.
A supered message relates that life will indeed be brighter “when we make it green.”
An end tag appears for energy company Edison International.
