Paranoid U.S. has entered into a partnership with Thomas Thomas Films, London, whereby several Paranoid directors–starting with Francois Vogel, Sophie Gateau and Nicole McDonald–will pick up representation in the U.K. Plans call for Paranoid to be integrally involved in any U.K. jobs that materializes out of this relationship. Meanwhile Paranoid continues to maintain its office in France as well as its partnership with Germany with Big Fish….Brent Holt has been named executive producer of Riot, New York. Most recently working as a freelance producer in Los Angeles, Holt returns to New York, where he previously served as executive producer of Manic, as well as Brand New School. In addition to his years in the Manhattan marketplace, Holt spent a year as executive producer at Little Bull Films in Torino, Italy…..Editor Chris Ophoven has joined Collective Seattle, the shop launched in July 2007 by editor Kelly Vander Linder and exec producer Molly Woodruff. Ophoven had most recently been freelancing as an assistant and editor for Seattle agencies and for Collective. Director Cassandra Brooksbank Joins Monument Content For Spots and Branded Content
Monument Content has signed director Cassandra โCassieโ Brooksbank for U.S. representation spanning commercials and branded content. She brings to her directing and storytelling the experience and skills of a writer, conceptual artist, editor and visual effects artist.
Her body of work as a director includes Pepsiโs โSelfieโ featuring Lionel Messi amid a flurry of fans, Barclays madcap womenโs Soccer League spot where she collaborated closely with the agency to develop the creative, ultimately winning the Grand Jury Prize at the Sports Industry Awards, and a grass-roots campaign for Fellow Coffee. The latter just didnโt brew buzz; it helped raise $1.2 million on Kickstarter.
Prior to joining Monument Content, Brooksbank had been repped in the U.S. for commercials by production house Hey Wonderful.
On the long-form front, she is repped by CAA for film and television. And on the horizon is her debut feature, My Masterpiece, produced by Sylvester Stalloneโs Balboa Productions and backed by Amazon.
