Stephen Arnold Music enjoyed another strong showing at NewcastStudio’s annual Broadcast Production Awards, tallying four wins including Best Overall Use of Music. That high honor was awarded for an expansive sonic branding package for the Qatari station, 37 TV. Also winning awards was the studio’s work for CNBC, KTNV Las Vegas and CGTN International.
The Vault, Stephen Arnold Music’s premium production music library, was also honored with two awards, for projects with FOX Business Network and content partner Amadea Music.
For 37 TV, Stephen Arnold Music created a package of sonic branding elements and customizable music assets around the tagline, “We are in touch with the world.” With its rhythmic, modern theme, the sonic identity evokes coherence, harmony, interaction, personality and the vivid lifestyles and cultures in Qatar. The sonic branding and music has been incorporated into a variety of station IDs and other media that emphasize the channel’s connection to its local community and the broader world. Good Morning Las Vegas, a campaign for television station KTNV, won for Best Image Campaign. Stephen Arnold Music produced an uplifting anthem that pays tribute to the city of Las Vegas and the morning show’s role in helping people get their day off to a rousing start. The campaign debuted during last year’s Academy Awards broadcast.
Winning in the category Best Promotional Spot was a campaign launching CNBC’s The News with Shepard Smith. Supporting the theme, “The facts. The truth.”, the music plays as an underscore to Smith as he discusses his vision for an unbiased news show.
Music for a campaign promoting the CGTN International news show Asia Today won for Best Custom Music for Promotions. The piece was part of a comprehensive music package that included branded elements for openers, closers, bumps, IDs and promos.
Stephen Arnold Music also received an Honorable Mention in the Custom Music category for a sonic branding and music package supporting the launch of Nexstar Media Group’s NewsNation.
The Vault won top honors in the category Production Music as a Theme for First Report, the theme utilized for the FOX Business Network show Cavuto Coast to Coast. It also took the award for Production Music Album for Trailers for Fusion, an album released via Amadea Music.
