I don’t know who I am going to vote for in the presidential election next year, but I can get a better idea from the candidate videos that have recently started appearing.
This week’s lead news story examines the subject, finding broadband video to be a major platform for political advertising this year. I’ve written about the subject before during past elections, but 2008 will be THE BIG YEAR for online political advertising, with video playing a major role in it because it provides candidates with the opportunity to tailor their messages and interact directly with voters. We will continue to report on political video activity in the weeks and months ahead. It will be an intriguing way to cover the election!
This week’s iChat features a stimulating conversation with Pete Imwalle from RPA, a leading creative shop for broadband video. They have no political work to speak of, but if cars are your thing, RPA will take you for a ride in a Honda, with a crab as a spokesperson.
Hey, don’t forget to keep us posted on the news you’re involved with. We want to know what you’re up to and what great broadband video advertising projects you’re working on.
iSPOT’s still new but we’re striving to get your vote as your favorite business publication!
