The One Club for Creativity, the world’s foremost non-profit organization celebrating creative excellence in advertising and design, today announces launch of The One Show Mobile-First Video Advertising category, sponsored by Facebook.
The new category has been established for video that is specifically created for use on mobile devices. Entries can be submitted via http://www.oneshow.org, extended deadline for entry is February 16, 2018.
All entries in The One Show Mobile-First Video Advertising category will be judged on a mobile phone in the native feed and stories environments, utilizing mock-up tools like Facebook’s Creative Hub.
Submissions for the new category must be mobile-first vertical video, no longer than 15 seconds, which is comprehensible with and without sound and created to promote a brand product or service. One file is required for submission (no case study or results required); 9:16, 2:3 or 4:5; file format: mp4; SRT file optional. English subtitles should be provided for non-English language entries.
“As mobile becomes the dominant platform for how users interact with brands, the time is right to recognize creative excellence in video content that is designed first and foremost with mobile in mind,” said Kevin Swanepoel, CEO, The One Club for Creativity (http://www.oneclub.org). “Facebook and Instagram are the pioneering platforms for mobile video, and we’re very excited to launch this new category with Facebook.”
Entries in the new Mobile-First Video Advertising category will be judged in March 2018, with finalists announced in April in lead up the The One Show awards ceremonies on May 9 and 11, 2018 during Creative Week (http://www.oneclub.org/creativeweek/) in New York.

2024 AICP Awards Tour Concludes with Stops in Dallas and Chicago
The 2024 AICP Awards Tour concludes with stops in Dallas and Chicago this month as it wraps up its tour of cities across the U.S. The National Tour brought presentations, panels and screenings to marketers, advertising agencies, production and post production companies. The AICP Awards will be in Dallas on Thursday, November 14th, at the Perot Museum of Nature and Science, followed by the Chicago event, set for Thursday, November 21st at The Old Post Office. Tickets are available now for both events at www.aicp.com. In Dallas, the program kicks off at 6:45 pm with a happy hour, followed by the screening and panel discussion at 7:30. The evening ends with a networking reception from 8:30 to 11:30. The Perot Museum of Nature and Science is located at 2201 N. Field Street in Dallas. Appearing in Dallas will be Abe Garcia, Chief Creative Officer, Dieste; Julia Melle, Director of Brand and Content, Southwest Airlines; and Isaac Pagán Muñoz, VP, Executive Creative Director of PepsiCo Foods. The panel will review selected winners from the suite of the AICP Awards programs, offering insights into what made them rise to the top of their respective categories and share their viewpoints on key trends in the industry.
