Amazon Original Series The Romanoffs, co-produced with Weinstein Television and created, written, directed and executive produced by nine-time Emmy® award winner Matthew Weiner (Mad Men), has added Aaron Eckhart (Sully) to its slate of guest stars joining the series. The Romanoffs is a one-hour contemporary anthology series set around the globe featuring separate stories about people who believe themselves to be descendants of the Russian royal family. Weiner is set to direct all episodes. Eckhart joins recently announced Academy Award nominee Isabelle Huppert (Elle), Golden Globe nominee Marthe Keller (Marathon Man), Emmy nominated Christina Hendricks (Mad Men), Emmy nominated John Slattery (Mad Men), Jack Huston (Boardwalk Empire), and Amanda Peet (Togetherness). The series will debut on Prime Video in the U.S. next year.
With numerous credits to his name, Aaron Eckhart is amongst the industry’s finest. He has earned considerable acclaim for his roles, including the love interest of Julia Roberts in Erin Brockovich for director Stephen Soderbergh. However, it was his portrayal of a love-scorned, vengeful man in Neil LaBute’s controversial film In the Company of Men which first drew him critical attention. In addition to In the Company of Men, he has starred in three other LaBute films including Possession, Nurse Betty, and Your Friends and Neighbors. Eckhart earned both a Golden Globe® and Independent Spirit Award nomination for his starring role in Jason Reitman’s directorial debut Thank You for Smoking. Other film credits include The Rum Diary, Battle: Los Angeles, Rabbit Hole, The Dark Knight as Harvey Dent/Two Face, The Pledge, Any Given Sunday, Towelhead, The Black Dahlia, Conversations with Other Women, Olympus Has Fallen and its sequel London Has Fallen. Eckhart was most recently seen co-starring opposite Tom Hanks in Clint Eastwood’s Sully, and in Bleed for This opposite Miles Teller.

2024 AICP Awards Tour Concludes with Stops in Dallas and Chicago
The 2024 AICP Awards Tour concludes with stops in Dallas and Chicago this month as it wraps up its tour of cities across the U.S. The National Tour brought presentations, panels and screenings to marketers, advertising agencies, production and post production companies. The AICP Awards will be in Dallas on Thursday, November 14th, at the Perot Museum of Nature and Science, followed by the Chicago event, set for Thursday, November 21st at The Old Post Office. Tickets are available now for both events at www.aicp.com. In Dallas, the program kicks off at 6:45 pm with a happy hour, followed by the screening and panel discussion at 7:30. The evening ends with a networking reception from 8:30 to 11:30. The Perot Museum of Nature and Science is located at 2201 N. Field Street in Dallas.
