Pulse Films has hired Nnena Nwakodo as executive producer in its music videos division. Nwakodo will be responsible for the management and development of the studio’s directing talent across its music video roster, and signing new filmmakers into the studios ecosystem. She will report into Rik Green, head of music videos.
Nwakodo joins Pulse Films following her most recent position as a producer at advertising agency BBH.
Outside of her producer position, Nwakodo is also the co-founder of Unsigned, an exhibition and platform that promotes up and coming photographers, illustrators and filmmakers. The platform exists to promote and elevate the most exciting emerging talent from across the industry. It was established in response to her observation that advertising agencies were working with a small, elite handful of artists and not embracing untapped talent. Nwakodo’s ability to spot and nurture new talent resulted in Unsigned featuring over 80 artists since its launch in 2018.
The Many Hires Jeremiah Wassom As Group Creative Director
Independent agency The Many has added Jeremiah Wassom as group creative director.
Wassom most recently worked a decade at Deutsch LA where, as SVP/creative director, he led the Taco Bell account and won new business for the agency. His agency past also includes AKQA and TBWAChiatDay. His creative work has touched the QSR, video games, automotive, fashion, and culture brand sectors. He also served eight years with the United States Marine Corps.
