Global creative audio network Squeak E. Clean Studios has tapped sound designer Dee Gjedsted to join its Melbourne studio. He has recently worked for clients Bank of Melbourne, Mercedes, Suzuki, Victoria Racing Club and Lucky Nuts.
Gjedsted brings to his new role extensive experience in sound design and music mixing across advertising and television. He most recently filled the role of sound designer, music producer and TV commercial-for-cinema mixer at Risk Sound and has worked with studios including DK, Metropolis Audio, Flagstaff Studios and Song Zu. He was the founder of music studio Prolific Music which he led for five years, working exclusively on music production.
Joining the Squeak E. Clean Studios Melbourne studio reunites Gjedsted with close industry collaborators, studio head of sound design Paul Le Couteur and exec producer Ceri Davies.
Gjedsted is enthused over his new roost’s extended reach encompassing advertising, entertainment, gaming and technology. Add to that a chance to flex his ear with international briefs from the New York, Los Angeles, Chicago and Austin studios as he is eager to establish new collaborations with Squeak E. Clean’s local agency partners and directors.
The Many Hires Jeremiah Wassom As Group Creative Director
Independent agency The Many has added Jeremiah Wassom as group creative director.
Wassom most recently worked a decade at Deutsch LA where, as SVP/creative director, he led the Taco Bell account and won new business for the agency. His agency past also includes AKQA and TBWAChiatDay. His creative work has touched the QSR, video games, automotive, fashion, and culture brand sectors. He also served eight years with the United States Marine Corps.
