Production company Voyager is cleared for landing on the West Coast, establishing an office in Playa Vista, Calif., to be helmed by managing partner David Brickel while EP Andrew Hutcheson will continue to lead the Brooklyn flagship office. Hutcheson will be joined in New York by new head of production, Alissa Feldbau.
Feldbau joins Voyager from the agency side of the business, having served at Arnold over the past seven years as a broadcast producer.
Partner Brickel passes the head of production torch to Feldbau in exchange for the good vibes, California sun, and heavy traffic in the City of Angels. He will be heading up new business development on the West Coast.
Voyager burst onto the production company scene in 2015 with founding director Charles Frank’s intimate documentaries and quickly established itself as an incubator for new talent, garnering its directors awards at D&AD, Cannes, One Screen and Clios, in addition to 11 Vimeo Staff Picks. Voyager’s roster consists of partner Frank, director/editor Caitlyn Green (HBO’s The Jinx), cinematic storyteller Marcus Tortorici and experimental documentarian Andrew Litten. Voyager has recently worked for brands such as 1800 Tequila, Facebook and Champion, and collaborated with agencies Deutsch, R/GA and BBDO, among many others.
