Benjamin Santoro, previously a freelance composer and touring musician who worked on campaigns for Coca-Cola, Gillette, Taco Bell, Pizza Hut, Toyota and more, as well as the Netflix series Fearless, has joined the Score a Score team, working out of its Boston office as a creative manager.
Headquartered in Los Angeles, Score a Score specializes in creating and licensing original music, sound design and voiceover for all forms of media, including ads, promos, trailers, branded content, film, TV and media games.
Santoro will work alongside founder/CEO Jordan Passman, COO Jake Weinreb, director of business affairs Jacy Skeen and creative managers Cian Favat and Marchese Taylor. Santoro will be focusing on creative initiatives and development, as well as the growth and expansion of the overall business, which connects top-tier composers and their music with content producers.
“I’ve worked with the team at Score a Score for years as a composer and couldn’t be more excited to join them in this new role. The company is growing fast and I’m thrilled to be working alongside such talented and hard-working people.” said Santoro.
Score a Score is closing out 2017 as another record breaking year, working on a higher-volume of projects than ever. Some of its recent work includes projects for Google, Verizon, Microsoft, Taco Bell, Coca Cola, Gap and BMW, and trailers for titles such as Star Wars: The Last Jedi, Red Sparrow, Early Man, Murder on the Orient Express and The Commuter.
The team is also active on the music supervision side, working on upcoming series for TBS, Netflix, Amazon, YouTubeRed and Facebook.
