Mill+ has added Cassidy Burcher to its global roster of directors.
Working out of the Mill+ London studio, Burcher has earned a reputation for inventing visually led stories in a highly imaginative and succinct way. This has led him to collaborate with brands such as Honda, Sony, Kronenbourg and Ballantine’s.
London-born Burcher has a passion for exploring themes through illustration and creative writing which remain at the heart of his directing work. His most recent breakthrough commercial project, a popular film announcing the new Honda HR-V, helped him earn Gold for Best New Director at the British Arrows Craft Awards.
Beginning his career at in 2008, Cassidy learned his trade working closely with leading directors and creatives across studios including Rattling Stick, Partizan, The Quarry, HSI and HLA.
Stephen Venning, executive director for Mill+, said, “Cassidy’s ability to direct fashion, beauty and auto work, combined with a stripped back sometime quirky observation on his subject, make him a fantastic fit for Mill+. We really believe that he’s the type of talent that can help us further evolve the ability and credibility of Mill+ as a creative offering in so many formats, both traditional and emerging.”
