Gravity, a full-service cultural advertising agency, has appointed Hernan Ibanez to serve as creative director and Alex Andreyev as VP of digital. Ibanez and Andreyev will be based out of the New York office and report directly to co-founder Luba Tolkachyov.
As creative director, Ibanez will be responsible for generating creative excellence and effectiveness for all of the agency’s clients, including Western Union and Comcast. Ibanez most recently served as executive creative director at Lopez Negrete Communications, where he led the creative department for the agency’s New York office. In this position, he served two of the agency’s biggest clients, Verizon Wireless and Fios, for the U.S. Hispanic market. Ibanez has gained recognition for his work over the span of his career, winning Cannes Lions, The One Show and the London International Awards, among others.
Andreyev comes to Gravity with over 10 years’ experience and extensive marketing, strategic and digital expertise. Previously, he was the director of omnichannel marketing at Neo@Ogilvy, where he helped marketers find cross-channel and holistic marketing approaches across a wide range of client divisions. Andreyev also oversaw Neo’s paid social and programmatic buying divisions for the North American region. He has been consistently recognized for this client work and was previously part of the Young Lions Competition at Cannes Lions.
Angelina Jolie To Receive Gothams Performer Tribute For “Marie”
The Gotham Film & Media Institute has announced that Academy Awardยฎ-winner Angelina Jolie will receive the Performer Tribute for her performance as Maria Callas in Pablo Larrainโs upcoming film Maria, at the 34th edition of The Gothams, taking place on Monday, December 2, at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City. The tribute will honor Jolieโs rendition of legendary opera singer Callas.
