Broad Green Pictures has hired Gail Heaney as executive VP of media. In her new role, she will be responsible for innovative marketing solutions and media strategies for all theatrical, VOD and home entertainment releases across all platforms.
Heaney previously held the position of exec VP, media at Summit Entertainment (a Lionsgate company) where she worked on titles such as The Twilight Saga, Divergent, and Kathryn Bigelow’s The Hurt Locker.
Prior to Summit Entertainment, Heaney worked for the CW Television Network as VP of media strategies, developing media campaigns for such shows as Gossip Girl and Reaper. From 2005 to 2007, she was VP of media for Universal, where she managed media spending for theatrical and DVD releases, including King Kong, 40-Year-Old Virgin and United 93. Heaney also worked for advertising agencies J. Walter Thompson and DDB Needham.
