A woman approaches a man ensconced in his office cubicle—at least he thought it was his. The woman politely says, "Jack, you’re in my cubicle."
"Oh, I’m sorry," he responds, and moves on to find his workspace. But this turns out to be a daunting challenge because row upon seemingly endless row of cubicles looks identical. We even see the man counting cubicles in a feeble attempt to locate his. For a fleeting moment, he thinks he’s found his workstation, but it turns out that there’s another guy seated in it.
A voiceover intervenes: "Having a tough day?" The spot then cuts to a logo promoting the Mega Millions game for the Massachusetts State Lottery. "Mega Millions. You have to play," concludes the voiceover.
Next, we return to the man, who is now in the comfort of his home, where he can dream a little. He has a lotto ticket, which he places under a magnet on his refrigerator door. Indeed, hope—albeit for a longshot jackpot—springs eternal.
