THE SPOT
"Music Video" (:30) opens on a red Volvo S40 as it drives slowly through a darkened neighborhood. MTV-style graphics introducing the music appear on screen in the lower right-hand corner, as the track "This Way" from Dilated Peoples featuring Kanye West is heard. As the driver turns up the volume to his surround sound system, beautiful women begin to fall from the sky, with one landing on the hood of the S40. "When you start showing up in music videos, don’t let the style of flavor mess with your mind," says the voiceover, as large diamonds begin to rain down along with the females. One of the oversized gems falls onto the hood of the car, lifting it off its back tires momentarily. "Still built like a Volvo," concludes the voiceover. "Introducing the all-new Volvo S40. Cool."
