THE SPOT
"Going Out" showcases the OnStar Personal Calling, satellite navigation and rear DVD player amenities available in the Chevy TrailBlazer. The :30 opens on an apartment where two moms are getting ready to go out, while their two young girls are watching a DVD cartoon on television. One woman checks her PDA, while the other phones their friend and tells her, "I’ll call you from the car." The girls grab the DVD and they all head for the TrailBlazer. One mom pushes the OnStar Personal Calling button from her vehicle and says, "Dial Laura," and the other mom turns on the satellite navigation. The girls put the DVD in the player and continue their cartoon viewing from the back of the TrailBlazer, as they all head out for a night on the town. The spot is set to Friggs’ "Bad Word for a Good Thing."
Spot broke in November.
