This spot gives "making a pass" a double meaning. It starts off with two pretty young women driving a Mini Cooper along a wide-open roadway. But suddenly they are not alone—an SUV being driven by a hunky guy pulls alongside them, presumably to pass.
The guy and the girls spot each other and exchange flirtatious glances. Then the Mini Cooper takes off, leaving the SUV behind. Not to be outdone, the guy puts the pedal to the metal and catches up with the young women. The flirtation continues as the two vehicles speed alongside one another.
But while three’s company seems to be the case here, four is clearly a crowd—there’s a policeman waiting for lawbreakers on his motorcycle by the roadside.
As they pass the cop, the girls make sure to keep driving alongside the SUV so that the larger vehicle blocks them from his view. When the cop gets on the guy’s tail, the girls continue to use the SUV as a shield by pulling in front of the larger car. The girls speed off into the distance as the guy is pulled over for a moving violation.
A parting super against a black background states: "Now in America size matters."
