THE SPOT
"JD Power Awards 2" (:30) utilizes a split-screen effect to show a woman driving through the countryside with her dog in tow. As a voiceover points out, "The people of Amica Insurance received JD Power and Associates’ highest customer satisfaction ranking among national auto insurers three years in a row." The woman drives by several road signs announcing Amica’s awards. "And they’ve received the 2002 award for the highest customer satisfaction ranking among national homeowner insurers," continues the narrator, as the woman passes by yet another sign announcing this award. Eventually the driver arrives at her destination: the friendly town of Amica. The commercial ends with a sign reading, "Welcome to Amica."
