THE SPOT
Three :30s each feature a New York Mets player sitting in a movie theater revealing his favorite moment in sports. As he does that, the event is replayed on a screen for both the viewer and player. In "Stanton/Namath," reliever Mike Stanton reveals that he enjoys stories about football legend Joe Namath; "Leiter/1999" shows pitcher Al Leiter sharing his favorite sports moment: his performance against the Cincinnati Reds, which led to the Mets gaining entry into the playoffs; and "Franco/Piazza/2000" features the relief pitcher and catcher, respectively, sharing how it felt to get into the 2000 World Series.
