Reinvigorated program heightens judging focus on craft, design and innovation with top jury selections and upgraded categories.
The Art Directors Club (ADC), one of the world’s first member organizations to champion commercial creativity and part of leading global creative organization The One Club for Creativity, today announced the call for entries for the ADC 96th Annual Awards at http://www.adcawards.org.
The ADC 96th Annual Awards this year intensifies its long-standing commitment to honoring work that exemplifies the very best in craft, design and innovation. This year’s jury, to be announced shortly, includes some of the top designers, creatives and directors from around the world and its enhanced awards format features upgraded Advertising, Design, Digital, Integrated and Motion categories.
Examples of category upgrades include:
- A substantial expansion of the Craft categories, with separate subcategories for Craft in Motion, Gaming, Digital, Video for Advertising, Writing and Radio.
- Photography categories specifically for Architecture, Fine Arts/Conceptual, Landscape, Wildlife and Travel/Tourism.
- Art Direction categories specifically for Digital, Mobile, Motion, Press/Print Advertising and Poster Advertising.
- Addition of Sustainable/Eco-friendly Packaging and Product Design
- A re-examination of the Window Display/Merchandising.

Early bird entries must be submitted via http://www.adcawards.org by December 23, 2016, with the final deadline for all categories on January 31, 2017. Judging takes place in March 2017, and winners will be announced and celebrated at the ADC 96th Annual Awards Gala in May 2017 as part of Creative Week in New York.

2024 AICP Awards Tour Concludes with Stops in Dallas and Chicago
The 2024 AICP Awards Tour concludes with stops in Dallas and Chicago this month as it wraps up its tour of cities across the U.S. The National Tour brought presentations, panels and screenings to marketers, advertising agencies, production and post production companies. The AICP Awards will be in Dallas on Thursday, November 14th, at the Perot Museum of Nature and Science, followed by the Chicago event, set for Thursday, November 21st at The Old Post Office. Tickets are available now for both events at www.aicp.com. In Dallas, the program kicks off at 6:45 pm with a happy hour, followed by the screening and panel discussion at 7:30. The evening ends with a networking reception from 8:30 to 11:30. The Perot Museum of Nature and Science is located at 2201 N. Field Street in Dallas. Appearing in Dallas will be Abe Garcia, Chief Creative Officer, Dieste; Julia Melle, Director of Brand and Content, Southwest Airlines; and Isaac Pagรกn Muรฑoz, VP, Executive Creative Director of PepsiCo Foods.
