Industry professional Lisa Sabatino Lange embarks on a new beginning with the launch her own Los Angeles-based sales and talent management firm Ready Set.
Lisa Sabatino Lange forms Ready Set after 12 years as a dedicated in-house rep. Ten of those years were spent with Anonymous Content and its partners at Iconoclast, Somesuch, and Serial Pictures. There, Sabatino Lange honed her personalized, strategy-focused approach to management while representing A-list directors such as Alejandro G Iñárritu, Cary Fukunaga, Mark Romanek, Romain Gavras, Daniel Wolfe, and Jonas Åkerlund.
Ready Set was the natural evolution for Sabatino Lange, who is excited to broaden the scope of her creative network. “With so many different ways in which content is being made today the marketplace is widening,” she says. “The talent I’m working with provides a full scope of creative opportunities for our clients. Every company has a blend of the traditional and the non-traditional.”
The Ready Set line-up includes esteemed live action and digital production company Stinkfilm; music-focused production and culture studio Ring The Alarm; pedigreed editorial house Final Cut; and design and experiential collective Sibling Rivalry.
“With increased competition and the myriad ways in which brands advertise, connecting talent with content requires a strategic/360 approach,” explains Sabatino Lange. “It’s essential to dive in with the talent and come up with fresh and inventive ways to get in front of people, particularly early on at the creative development phase of a project.”
Final Cut’s Los Angeles EP Eric McCasline says, “I can’t wait to work with Lisa. Having long known her through her work with Anonymous Content, I’m so glad the stars have aligned and we’re able to have such a creative and strategic thinker to help us match our great group of editors with the very best work out there.”
Sabatino Lange’s dedication to the production and advertising community is directed beyond service to her own clients. Ready Set was a sponsor for the fourth installment of The Side Project screening series, centered around “Women Behind The Camera: Female Creativity In Film.” The illuminating night featured a lineup of short films by both established and emerging female filmmakers, followed by a panel discussion about the issue of gender discrepancy in the industry.
