CreativeDrive Partners with Ray Brown and Expands Content Creation Offerings with Purchase of Hudson Studios
CreativeDrive, a digital content creation network designed to satisfy the rapidly growing need for digital visual content, has partnered with Ray Brown through the acquisition of Hudson Studios, a New York-based studio located in the Starrett-Lehigh building at 601 West 26th Street.
Located adjacent to High Line Park, Hudson Studios offers five connecting studios totaling approximately 30,000 square feet of space and a full range of equipment to meet any creative requirement.
Hudson Studios will build on CreativeDrive’s existing New York footprint of digital and motion studios, now representing over 150,000 square feet in the New York area. More importantly, this transaction represents the partnership of CreativeDrive and Ray Brown, Principal of Hudson Studios and founder of raybrownrepresents, a leading talent agency representing photographer and stylist talent.
"With CreativeDrive, we are building a content creation platform which is firmly positioned to meet the fast growing content needs of retailers and brands in an omni-channel marketplace,” said Jeff Drazan, Managing Partner at private equity firm Bertram Capital and Chairman of the Board of CreativeDrive. Drazan added, “We believe Ray Brown’s substantial industry relationships and CreativeDrive’s cutting-edge content creation capabilities will be a powerful combination in the market.”
“We are extremely excited for Hudson Studios to join CreativeDrive as they are the global leaders in visual content production,” said Ray Brown.
The acquisition follows an alliance last spring with W.Studio, one of China’s largest studios, that marked the beginning of CreativeDrive’s international expansion.

The new feature, aptly dubbed โTeamsโ, makes it easier than ever for users to give project responsibilities to team members and clients alike. โYou can never have too many options when it comes to permission levels,โ says Jay Brooks, Simianโs Chief Technology Officer. โTeams provides a streamlined way to assign multiple users to a project at once.โ
โTeams are very powerful, but creating one is effortless,โ Brian Atton, Simianโs Chief Operating Officer explains. โSimply enter a Team name, add members, and then apply the newly made Team to any desired project.
