Adds Experienced and Emerging New Talent
Visual Music is expanding it’s roster, according to Creative Director Tom Seufert. The additions include London-based hit maker Stephen Hague (Pet Shop Boys), Christian Moder (recent Emmy nominee), Blake Straus (Atlas Genius), Keeley Bumford and Gray Bashew. These five accomplished artists join an already impressive roster that includes John Swihart (Napoleon Dynamite), Bear McCreary (The Walking Dead) and select songwriters, DJ’s, artists and composers. Recent Visual Music clients include BMW, Disney, AT&T (2013 Cannes Silver Lion), Red Bull and the Hard Rock Hotel.
Stephen Hague produced the Pet Shop Boys hit “West End Girls” and has also worked with Peter Gabriel, OMD, Public Image LTD., Erasure and Robbie Robertson among many others. In his early career he and Tom Seufert were in the band La Seine, and they co-wrote a top Ten hit in Holland titled “Tango All Night” which was later covered by Ringo Starr.
Christian Moder was recently nominated for an Emmy for music he created for Ruby’s Studio (which just won the Emmy for Best Children’s program). He is the drummer/pianist for the critically acclaimed Chicago rock band, The Great Crusades, who were nominated for the Best Song – Television HMMA Award in 2011 for “Bucket of Blood,” heard in the finale of HBO’s True Blood. He has also composed music for Miller High Life, McDonalds, Toyota, Nickelodeon and Draft Kings.
Keeley Bumford is a vocalist, writer and producer based in Los Angeles. Her voice and songs can be heard on projects for Apple, Coca Cola, Mattel, NBC, Nissan, The CW, Disney and Lexus to name a few. Living somewhere musically between Ella Fitzgerald, St Vincent and Bjork, her sound has been described as unique and charismatic. She has worked with Visual Music on projects for Disney, Marco’s and Palm Springs.
Blake Straus is an in demand guitarist and producer who has worked with Atlas Genius, Hunter Hunted, Rooney, Keith Urban and Big Moves among many others. He has worked with Visual Music on several projects, including Jello. Gray Bashew is originally from South Africa and is a multi-talented composer, musician and producer. Boris FX Brings Greater ML Power To Continuum’s Video Editing and Visual Effects Toolkit
Boris FX announces the release of Continuum 2025, which strengthens its machine-learning capabilities with a growing list of creative effects and innovative tools. The award-winning plugin collection now includes six internally developed, ethically trained ML-driven effects that streamline workflows and save artists valuable time. Continuum 2025 is available with subscription pricing starting at $195/year. โContinuumโs two new ML effects take tasks that are traditionally tricky, applying dynamic motion blur to live action shots and concealing license plate identifiers, and provides users with speedy and accurate one-click solutions,โ says Boris Yamnitsky, President and Founder of Boris FX. โThe addition of Motion Blur ML and License Plate ML highlights Continuumโs continuing push towards developing ML-driven post-production tools that take the guesswork out of laborious tasks while ensuring artists maintain their creative freedom.โ โContinuum 2025โs standout effect is Motion Blur ML. Its machine-learning optical flow only blurs the moving section of a shot, isolating and leaving untouched sections with none or less motion,โ states Ra-ey Saleh, offline & online editor (Discovery, TLC, HGTV). โIt's perfect for any type of production, making it easy to add an extra layer of realism or more in-your-face stylization to video and text.โ ML Technology BCC+ Motion Blur ML uses a sophisticated ML algorithm to instantly detect pixel movement and apply realistic motion blur to video and motion graphics. Users can adjust blur intensity and direction (forward, backward, or a combination) or... Read More
