Part of adolescence is discovering the power of choice. And the male teenager must sometimes choose between thinking with his brain—or with something much further south anatomically.
However, in this :30, a young man who appears well past his adolescence is not only listening to the voice from below—but having conversations with it. We see him driving in his car when a voice from seemingly nowhere asks, "Hey, did you remember the flowers?"
We see a bouquet of roses in the backseat area of the automobile.
This is followed by another query, "What about the mints?"
The guy answers in the affirmative, confidently patting his front shirt pocket. But he’s at a loss when the voice poses its next question: "And your Primex condoms. Have you got them?"
The man realizes he’s forgotten, and looks down at his groin area almost apologetically.
His nether region isn’t about to let him off the hook. "Remember what happened with the German girl at the campsite?" it says.
"Okay, okay," responds the man, and he pulls the car up to a convenience store to buy a pack of Primex condoms.
The spot then transitions to the bedroom. We see the guy in bed, lying next to an attractive woman. "Was it good for you?" he asks his date.
"It was great," she replies.
However, a third party then enters the conversation. "Great," echoes an enthusiastic voice from under the sheets. Hearing the voice, the woman looks at her companion in bewildered amazement.
The spot then ends with a shot of various varieties of Primex condom packages, accompanied by the supered slogan: "Primex Condoms. Don’t leave home without them."
