THE SPOTS
Set to the tune "Wouldn’t It Be Loverly" (with new lyrics) from My Fair Lady, two :30s feature perky folks relating how they feel as they head to a Hampton Inn, either by car or leaving the airport. In "Traffic Thoughts," people drive along a highway while singing about the service they receive from Hampton Inn. "Wish List" shows a businessman going around a baggage carousel as he sings about the friendly service from the hotel chain. Both ads also include outdoor billboards that "come to life" as Hampton Inn employees welcome the travelers—and viewers—to their establishment.
Spots broke in July.
