Sound artists from Tattersall Sound & Picture, a SIM Group company, won a 2016 Cinema Audio Society (CAS) Award last night for their work on Fargo. Re-Recording Mixers Kirk Lynds and Martin Lee were honored for Outstanding Achievement in Sound Mixing for a Television Movie or Mini-Series for Fargo, Season 2, Episode 5. They shared the award with Production Mixer Michael Playfair CAS.
Tattersall Sound & Picture talent have received three nominations in feature film categories in the Canadian Screen Awards. Two of the nominations are for the war drama Hyena Road; the third is for the sci-fi drama Into the Forest. Artists also received three nominations in television categories for The Book of Negroes, Vikings and Songs of Freedom.

Tattersall Re-Recording Mixers Lou Solakofski and Ian Rankin received a CSA nomination for Achievement in Overall Sound for Hyena Road. They share the nomination with Re-Recording Mixer Joe Morrow, Sound Recordist Russ Dyck, Re-Recording Mixer Graham Rogers, ADR Recording Mixer James Bastable, ADR Recordist Andrรฉ Azoubel, Foley Recording Mixers Don White and Jack Heeren.
Nominated for Achievement in Overall Sound for Into the Forest is Re-Recording Mixer Lou Solakofski. He shares the nomination with Re-Recording Mixer Kirk Lynds, Sound Mixer Kristian Bailey, Foley Recording Mixers Don White, Jack Heeren and ADR Mixer Peter Carlstedt.
Nominated for Achievement in Sound Editing for Hyena Road are Supervising Sound Editor Jane Tattersall, Dialogue Editor David McCallum, Dialogue Editor Martin Gwynn Jones, ADR Supervisor Barry Gilmore and Sound Effects Editor Dave Rose. They share the nomination with Sound Editor David Evans, Sound Effects Editor Brennan Mercer, Sound Editor Ed Douglas, Music Editor Kevin Banks, Foley Artist Goro Koyama and Foley Artist Andy Malcolm.
Hyena Road received six additional nominations for Canadian Screen Awards: Achievement in Art Direction, Achievement in Cinematography, Achievement in Costume Design, Achievement in Editing, Achievement in Make-Up and Achievement in Visual Effects.
Tattersall Sound & Picture also provided sound services for Beeba Boys, nominated for Achievement in Costume Design, Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role and Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role.
In the MPSE Golden Reel Awards, Supervising Sound Editor David Rose MPSE and Supervising Dialogue/ADR Editor David McCallum are nominated for Best Sound Editing in Television—Long Form: Dialogue and ADR for The Book of Negroes. They share the nomination with Supervising ADR Editor Martin Gwynn Jones, and Dialogue/ADR Editors Susan Conley and Brent Pickett.
