jumP is thrilled to welcome Sarah Roebuck to the team as Executive Producer.
Roebuck comes to jumP from Imaginary Forces where she was one of the EP’s in the New York office. She started her career as a producer on the agency side at JWT NY, then moved to Radical Media when the company had just launched their original content department. While at JWT, she had the unique experience of evolving her role from Senior Producer to Integrated Production Recruiter, where she hired production talent for Broadcast, Digital, Print, Art Buying and Post Production. She then became the EP at East Pleasant Pictures where she oversaw live action, interactive and digital projects for a myriad of global brands and agencies, as well as their post-production and motion graphics companies, Pleasant Post and EP*Vision.
With over 15 years of experience, both from the Agency and Vendor side, Roebuck finds a uniqueness about jumP that initially sparked her interest. “jumP is a company that is filled with forward-thinking, flexible and -dare I say it- nimble people who are all open to change and the evolution that continues to unfold in our industry.” Another thing that really stood out to Roebuck was how much the partners nurture young talent. “Michael Saia and Luis Moreno view editing as a craft, and take such pride in mentoring their younger editors rising through the ranks. I respect that a great deal.”
Luis Moreno, Partner and Editor of jumP comments on the hire of Roebuck, “In looking for our executive producer, we wanted someone who was energetic, positive and a good team builder. Sarah possesses all of those qualities and we know that she will help us build the next stage of jumP.” Michael Saia, Partner and Editor of jumP adds, “Our company is evolving rapidly with a new generation of young editors and artists. We knew in our first conversation with Sarah that this was someone who had the experience, intelligence and youthful energy to lead us to the next level.”
Roebuck originally hails from Texas, but grew up in the beautiful valleys of Sonoma, California. Upon graduating from SMU in Dallas, she bought a one-way ticket to NYC and never looked back. She now lives in NYC's East Village with her partner in crime, Xander Strohm, and their two young bucks, Axl and Von.
