THE SPOTS
Three :30s promote the NFL Sunday Ticket subscription service available via DirecTV. In "Early Bird/Manning," Indianapolis Colts quarterback Peyton Manning sits in a locker room with a curious fan, who questions a play in which Manning may have called an audible. The last laugh is on the man though, as Manning corrects him by using football terms that he wouldn’t understand. He ends by admitting that it may, in fact, have been an audible. "Early Bird/McNabb" shows Donovan McNabb, the Philadelphia Eagles quarterback, having lunch with a young boy. Even though the youngster moved away from Philly, he is still able to see the Eagles games, thanks to the DirecTV service, which pleases McNabb. And "Regular/Faulk" features Marshall Faulk sitting on bleachers with an avid female fan. She tells the St. Louis Rams running back that he is a triple threat and that together, they are going to go far in the upcoming fantasy football season.
Spots broke in June.
