Deluxe, a global innovator offering comprehensive post-production, distribution and asset-management solutions for media and entertainment companies, will showcase its latest product innovations and services at the 2015 NAB Show at booth #SU8905.
For Broadcasters, Deluxe will demonstrate Deluxe MediaCloud, its revolutionary software-based platform that gives broadcasters an alternative to legacy owned and operated hardware-centric broadcast infrastructure. Released from the limitations of geography and free of the demands and expense of dedicated facilities, the Deluxe MediaCloud platform transforms the broadcast chain and offers a more agile, resilient and cost-effective solution.
The IP-based software platform will broaden distribution, generate new revenue streams, and take the costs out of the supply chain. Broadcasters can now more efficiently manage media assets and play-out and deliver channels anytime, anywhere to any platform in any format.
Deluxe will also be demonstrating their end-to-end linear 4K workflow, using multiple connectivity paths through different ISPs, live and in real-time, streamed directly to the Deluxe booth.
For Content Owners, Deluxe will showcase DL3, the industry’s most robust and powerful platform for global end-to-end supply chain management. DL3 features enhanced capabilities to support advanced formats, including IMF(Interoperable Master Format is a file transfer format for video and audio), 4K UHD (Ultra High Def), and HDR (High Dynamic Range), highly scalable and dynamic content preparation and delivery, and unprecedented localization abilities that currently handles one million minutes of content around the world each month. All of which are critical for Electronic Sell Through (EST) platforms and global distribution and management of the digital supply chain.
For the first time, DL3 will preview the integrated V2 Media Store, the cloud-based catalog management suite that provides additional visibility, tracking and management of digital assets throughout the supply chain.
DL3 will also highlight its service integration with Deluxe OnDemand™, focusing on the unique end-to-end workflow requirements for 4K UHD to enable content owners to unlock the potential of their deep libraries.
Deluxe is the largest global provider of EST deliveries, and handles significant volumes of 4K content now flowing to the market through partners like Netflix and distributors worldwide. With DL3, clients enjoy the most comprehensive service offering in the industry, backed by deep, feature rich platform capabilities.
For Distributors, Deluxe will present Deluxe OnDemand™, its advanced video-on-demand (VOD) workflow management services to source, transform and deliver any content, including 4K UHD, for IP-VOD, Over-the-Top EST, and TVOD/SVOD applications.
This cloud-based solution enables distributors (MVPDs, retailers, programmers, and other OTT providers) to remove cost from the distribution supply chain, quickly expand libraries, or launch new services to multiscreen devices and legacy set-top boxes. Reach any screen, on any device, in any language, anywhere in the world simultaneously.
Deluxe will also be demonstrating the distribution of 4K UHD over traditional CDNs and the impact of bitrate on quality to enable distributors to launch a 4K offering and broaden distribution without the capital investment.
Ken Goeller, Vice President of Solutions Engineering at Deluxe OnDemand will be presenting on the topic “Reducing 4K UHD Content Distribution Costs with Cloud Workflow Strategies” at the NAB Media Management in the Cloud Conference on Tuesday, April 14.
Finally, Deluxe will also be exhibiting ColorStream® – A color correction and annotation collaboration tool for creatives in features and commercials and Metatrack Portal – A simple and easy-to-use web content management portal that hides the complexity of mapping VFX pulls to the correct content.
