THE SPOT
"Brotherly Love" (:30)—which promotes the Game Boy Advance videogame "Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga"—shows that competition between the Mario Brothers started early. Faux live-action home movie footage shows the mustachioed boys as typical youngsters, as a voiceover states, "After a twenty-year sibling rivalry, Mario and Luigi team up using synchronized super moves in their most ridiculous adventure ever." The commercial then cuts to footage of the videogame.
Spot broke Nov. 10.
