Continuing its longstanding support for emerging filmmakers, Technicolor PostWorks New York provided post-production services for several films premiering at this month’s Tribeca Film Festival.
The facility provided editorial conforming, color grading, visual effects, DCP and deliverables for Dixieland, a drama from director Hank Bedford in his feature debut. The film, about star-crossed lovers caught in a downward spiral of crime and obsessive love, stars Chris Zylka, Riley Keough and Faith Hill; Tobias Datum, cinematographer and David Massachi, editor. Technicolor PostWorks credits include Anthony Raffaele, DI colorist; Tif Luckenbill, DI editor; and Ryan McMahon, visual effects artist.
For The Diplomat, director David Holbroke’s insightful documentary about the career of his father, veteran diplomat Richard Holbroke¸ Technicolor PostWorks provided editorial conforming, color grading and deliverables. The film was lensed by cinematographers Adam Vardy, Richard Dallett, Jim Hurst and Bao Nguyen, and edited by Seth Bomse. Allie Ames was the conforming editor and colorist for Technicolor PostWorks.
Another documentary, Roseanne for President! tells the story of comedian Roseanne Barr’s quixotic 2012 presidential campaign. Directed by Eric Weinrib in his directorial debut, the film was shot by cinematographer Jayme Roy and edited by Tyler H. Walk and Melanie Vi Levy. Technicolor PostWorks provided editorial conforming and color grading, with Allie Ames, colorist; and Ryan McMahon, lead conform editor. Sound work was completed at PostWorks, Christopher Koch, sound supervisor/re-recording mixer.
Technicolor PostWorks provided color grading services for the short Early Sunday Morning. Directed by Yoonha Park, the film centers on an usher working late at a multiplex; Sam Wooten, cinematographer; Yoonha Park, editor. Sam Daley was the colorist for Technicolor PostWorks.
PostWorks provided ADR services for Sleeping with Other People from director Leslye Headland (Bachelorette). The romantic comedy stars Alison Brie and Jason Sudeikis. PostWorks’ Chris White served as ADR recordist.
The Tribeca Film Festival will be held April 15 – 26 in New York City.
