Newport Beach, California based ChopShop Entertainment just completed the second in a series of three mini-documentaries for automotive exhaust system manufacturer MagnaFlow’s Wall of Authority web site.
Working with Schiefer Media, also based in Newport Beach, ChopShop provided the concept for the Wall of Authority, the web site design, execution, all content production for the mini-documentaries and spots. ChopShop principal and creative director Zach Lyons directed the two-minute mini-documentaries and 15-second spots.
The Wall of Authority site serves as a platform for MagnaFlow to engage their targeted consumer and to connect with featured brand ambassadors.
Magnaflow’s Wall of Authority – www.wallofauthority.com – was created to share the “the best, brightest and baddest asses in the automotive world”. The statement on the site goes on to say, “We share the stories of the godfathers and the up and comers alike. Legendary people, cars, trucks and bikes you’ve known your entire life, and those that are poised to take their own place on the mantle.”
The first two mini-documentaries in the series featured famed racecar driver Mario Andretti and Huntington Beach, California custom car designer and builder Chip Foose respectively. The third in the series will feature motorcycle designer and builder Arlen Ness and will be produced in May 2015. The voice of the selected icon is over visuals of the featured personality at his shop or favorite track talking about their experience with MagnaFlow.
