THE SPOT
The :15 "Tumbleweed" features a combination of CGI and cel animation to showcase Chili’s Southwestern Eggrolls. In an animated Southwestern setting, a tumbleweed, followed by the Chili’s signature pepper, appears onscreen. A bunny jumps on top of the pepper, riding it like a horse, as they fall down a hole and emerge into an Asian environment. A sword-wielding man slices around the pepper, as the Southwestern Eggroll product is showcased. The spot ends with the tag, "Chili’s Southwestern Eggrolls. Where East meets Southwest."
Spot broke in November.
