NEW YORK -- (SPW) --
The CLIO awards, now in their 55th year of celebrating some of the best work in advertising, design and communications has just announced their 2014 Grand CLIO Award winners.
Among the winners is the viral video phenomenon #LikeAGirl for P&G brand Always, directed by Chelsea Pictures director Lauren Greenfield in collaboration with Leo Burnett Toronto. The work wins its Grand CLIO for Public Relations (Brand Development). #LikeAGirl took home an astounding additional 6 CLIO Awards; a gold for Engagement and one for Public Relations (Corporate Image), silvers in Direct (Film), Digital/Social (Social Media) and Branded Entertainment & Content, and a bronze in Direct (Digital/Social).
Chelsea partner and Executive Producer Lisa Mehling took a moment this morning to reflect on the success of the work, "We are so proud of Lauren, and to have collaborated on such a powerful message that has impacted so many people. It's worth noting that many of the people behind this campaign are women: Susan Credle, Judy John, Adine Becker, AJ Hassan at Leo Burnett, Lauren Greenfield, my partner Allison Amon and myself. Incredible." Chelsea is proud to collaborate on such impactful content, which represents an underlying sea change on the role and meaning of advertising. Our congratulations to everyone who worked on this powerful project, man or woman; it was an incredible team.
