aE|Media, the parent company of audioEngine|NYC, audioEngine|PHX, Broadcasters, KIND Edit and Shout It Out Loud Music continues in growth mode as it adds Hey Beautiful Jerk to its roster. Hey Beautiful Jerk is a creative and post production shop committed to telling compelling stories through world class visual effects and design. HBJ will be offering a wide variety of services from concept development to high-end finishing with a concentration on design, animation and visual effects.
“Mark’s reputation preceded him and when I took a look at the work he and Gina were doing I was beyond impressed. Once we discussed their goals and my plans for aE|Media’s future, it was pretty simple to work out an arrangement as we all just clicked," says Bob Giammarco, aE|Media’s CEO.
Szumski and Niespodziani’s new venture will reside alongside the other aE|Media companies at 817 Broadway, New York City. Their new digs will be fully integrated with aE’s infrastructure for seamless sharing of projects.
HBJ’s official launch will be in October of this year, however that has not stopped the shop from getting out of the gate running on projects for Matt Lenski (Supply And Demand) – In collaboration with aE|Media shops audioEngine|NYC and Shout It Out Loud Music – as well as ALL detergent (Merkley & Partners) in collaboration with KIND Edit.
“Our goal with Hey Beautiful Jerk is simply to create beautiful and compelling work, no matter the end format. Whether it is a commercial, a music video, an interactive fashion editorial, or branding, for us it is all about good content and visually stunning storytelling,” Says Niespodziani
