Editors Available throughout Deluxeโs Network of Beast Facilities
Beast Editorial, a Deluxe Media Creative Services company, has added veteran editor Dean Gonzalez and promoted Matthew Glover to editor.
Both will be based in Chicago but are expected to work on projects throughout the Beast network.
Gonzalez joins Beast from Chicago editorial house Hootenanny. There, he worked on national and international commercials, including spots for Vidal Sassoon and Marlboro, and on Web-based campaigns for Stetson and others.
“Dean is a very talented editor and offers a diverse reel that will strengthen and compliment our current editorial staff,” Beast Executive Producer Peter Hullinger said.
The Chicago native previously spent more than a decade working in the Los Angeles area, honing his skills with a large number of music videos, commercials, long-form documentaries and ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live.”
Said Gonzalez: “Beast is exactly the company I've always wanted to work for. It’s so inspiring to work around so many great artists and such an incredible support staff.”
Glover, originally from Detroit, has been promoted from a previous position as Beast's lead assistant.
In his prior role, he worked on a mix of commercials and long-form projects, including a salute to Chicago that was awarded a Midwest Emmy.
“I have been impressed with Matt ever since I joined Beast,” Hullinger said. “He has developed quite the following, which can be accredited to his editorial abilities and how well he works with clients.”
Prior to joining Beast, Glover worked in freelance editing for the Chicago-area companies. He has experience on editing projects for Walmart, Kraft and many others.
“I’m very excited to be able to devote myself to editing full time," Glover said. "Beast is a wonderful company to work for because it brings in such a wide variety of high-end clients.”
Beast Chicago Managing Editor Angelo Valencia said the addition of Gonzalez and Glover to Beast’s editorial team “allows us to service and collaborate with our clients even more and to provide a very strong editorial group to the Chicago community and beyond.”
