Los Angeles-based advertising agency and production company Stun Creative, along with its design and animation division Buster, and its BusterINK digital unit, have created a national TV, theatrical, and digital ad campaign comprised of a series of celebrity-driven promotional spots for Fandango, the nation's leading moviegoer destination. Fandango's website (www.fandango.com) and award-winning mobile apps entertain and inform consumers with reviews, commentary, celebrity interviews and trailers, and offer the ability for consumers to conveniently buy their movie tickets in advance.
The series of eight spots comprising the new campaign blend a combination of humor, live action, and animated illustrations to express just how simple and easy going to the movies can be with the help of Fandango. The campaign features comedian and film star Kevin Hart, Dulรฉ Hill, Chelsea Kane, Jurnee Smollett-Bell, "The Daily Show's" Al Madrigal, and Mark Salling from "Glee," among others. Each celebrity offers his/her own fun take on various moviegoing experiences, ranging from Family Night At The Movies, to Girls Night Out At The Movies, to Date Night At The Movies.

The eight spots in this new Fandango campaign will air on television in 20+ top markets including Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Denver, Detroit, Houston, Miami, Philadelphia, San Francisco, Seattle, and Washington DC – in theaters, and within digital and social media. Beginning the week of December 16, spots will begin running nationally on NBC broadcast and cable properties.
VP of Marketing for Fandango, Adam Rockmore, approached Stun and Buster with a creative strategy by which to build brand awareness of Fandango, and help illustrate, quite literally, the wide range of invaluable services Fandango offers for the moviegoer. The campaign presents a fun blend of real life dilemmas with Fandango coming to the rescue. In one spot entitled "Hero Dad," Kevin Hart turns into "Fandango Man," to make moviegoing a better experience for his family – from no waiting in lines, to no big heads blocking your view by picking your own seats.
"For Fandango, we had an opportunity to develop a totally fresh approach for consumers to the moviegoing experience," says Jonas Morganstein, Buster's Chief Creative Officer. "We created a fun, limitless world where live action and animated illustrations combine to tell Fandango-full adventures. From a shirtless architect to amorous bears to an ex-girlfriend turned zombie… truly anything goes."
Add Brad Roth and Mark Feldstein, Principals, Stun Creative, "Adam really provided the creative latitude and strategic guidance that enabled our team to envision and produce something fantastic. We are very happy with the results, and we believe audiences across all media will be too."
Adam Rockmore said, "We are very proud of the spots produced by the teams at Stun Creative and Buster for Fandango. Not only are they fresh, fun, and entertaining, but they clearly communicate how Fandango can enhance the moviegoing experience for all types of moviegoers – from families to millennials."

Simian Gets An Evolutionary Boost For Collaboration, Reveals “Teams”
Simian, the showreel-building, review & approval, and production asset management platform used globally by creative leaders, is kicking off this fall season with a substantial leap forward for collaboration and project management โ with more updates on the way during the holidays!
The new feature, aptly dubbed โTeamsโ, makes it easier than ever for users to give project responsibilities to team members and clients alike. โYou can never have too many options when it comes to permission levels,โ says Jay Brooks, Simianโs Chief Technology Officer. โTeams provides a streamlined way to assign multiple users to a project at once.โ
โTeams are very powerful, but creating one is effortless,โ Brian Atton, Simianโs Chief Operating Officer explains. โSimply enter a Team name, add members, and then apply the newly made Team to any desired project. You can even invite temporary guests without changing settings for other projects or needing to create a new Team.โ
โWe love helping our clients by providing efficient tools to improve their workflow, and this has been a frequently requested feature as of late,โ shares Kellie Atton, Head of Sales at Simian. โIt feels great to get Teams out into the wild because I know itโs going to be tremendously helpful to everyone who uses itโ.
Teams is now available exclusively to Simianโs enterprise clients. Simian plans to release more product upgrades and enhancements during Q4 2024 and 2025 for enterprise and non-enterprise users, continuing its ongoing evolution as the industryโs leading production asset management solution.
