About Pierre Barougier
Having graduated from the Louis Lumière Cinema School, he has worked on a number of features including, Roman Polanski’s “Death and the Maiden,” Woody Allen’s “Everyone says I love you,” Lawrence Kasdan’s “French Kiss” and Bertrand Blier’s “Les acteurs.” As a Director of Photography, Pierre specializes in advertising and specifically tabletop food shots.
Recently Pierre bought his own Phantom Flex camera. He has surrounded himself with a multidisciplinary team specializing in table-top, slow motion and macro. His small and efficient crew as well as his workshop located in Auvergne enable him to offer services at very attractive prices.
As freelance, he alternates as Director/DoP and as DoP throughout Europe and all of India, Russia and Lebanon. He now has close to a hundred commercials to his credit.
