Content and Communications World (CCW) (November 13-14) is proud to announce the expansion of unique offerings for production and post-production professionals to its 2013 conference schedule. The event will host world-class Super Sessions and complimentary training for full conference attendees, and dozens of the more than 50 complimentary 30-minute talks will cover issues vital to this segment of the media and entertainment industry.
The 30-minute sessions will take place in the Production + Post Theater and will feature a series of talks on the latest technologies, techniques and workflows transforming production and post-production for film, video and television. Sessions included in the Production + Post Theater include a discussion on Effective Visual Effects for Everyone, Advanced Post Production Hosting and an examination of whether or not Independents and Studios can coexist. CCW attendees also have free access to two other theaters, the Broadcast and Beyond Theater and the Streaming Media Theater.
With thousands of exhibitors and attendees under one roof, CCW offers a comprehensive platform to explore new technologies, best practices and innovative tools professionals can utilize to advance their professional interests and the industry as a whole. Helping to accomplish these objectives is an impressive line-up of expert speakers from the industry. Full-conference attendees will have access to compelling Super Sessions held on the CCW Main Stage, including: Breaking Out of Silos, a session on creative collaboration and From Seen to Scene, which discusses the influence of great work on an editor’s choices.
Additionally, representatives from Gold Coast Studios, Silvercup Studios, the, the Nassau County FilmOffice and the New York City Mayor’s Office will participate in a Super Session titled, NY TV & Film at All Time High – Is It a Good Thing?
Full-conference attendees will also have access to a returning favorite, the Manhattan Edit Workshop, featuring five compelling, one-hour training sessions on a range of post-production topics.
