THE SPOTS
"Billboard" (:30), which introduces Crunchin’ Rice Krispies, finds cereal icons Snap, Crackle and Pop inspecting a road sign advertising the new product. When a highway patrolman stops to question them, they manage to avoid arrest, but still end up in a fix. The cereal’s crunch jolts loose a ladder attached to the billboard and the trio is left stranded. In "Photo Shoot" (:30), the icons pose for pictures to adorn the boxes of three different varieties of cereal: Rice Krispies, Rice Krispie Treats and Cocoa Rice Krispies. Unfortunately, the boys can’t stop eating the cereal, which drives the photographer nuts.
Spots broke in January.
