Oscarยฎ-winning screenwriter Mark Boal, writer-producer Damon Lindelof, Oscar-winning editor William Goldenberg, Oscar-nominated editor Dylan Tichenor, and editors Maryann Brandon and Mary Jo Markey will join together for the onstage discussion, “Turning the Page: Storytelling in the Digital Age” on Wednesday, May 15, at 7:30 p.m. at the Academy’s Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Beverly Hills. Hosted by screenwriter John August, the evening will feature clips from the panelists’ films, including “Argo,” “Zero Dark Thirty” and the upcoming “Star Trek Into Darkness.” The discussion will focus on digital technologies that are revolutionizing how stories are told through screenwriting, cinematography and editing.
