DLT Entertainment has appointed Greg Rocco as Director of Sales in the U.S., adding to the company’s growing distribution and production teams.
Rocco will be responsible for finished program sales to cable channels and PBS stations in the US, DVD sales, as well as exploring ways to develop DLT Entertainment‘s program catalog for digital and new media release. Rocco will be based in DLT’s New York offices and report to President and Chairman, Don Taffner Jr.
DLT’s Don Taffner Jr said: “Greg has a proven track record in propelling company growth and increasing revenue streams for TV distribution and will play a key role in DLT’s future growth. It is a particularly exciting time for DLT Entertainment with our new distribution joint venture launched at MIPCOM and a number of new projects in development. Rocco, who joins DLT from Katz Media Group in New York and recently attended NATPE, in Miami, with John Fitzgerald, Deputy Chairman, and Don Taffner Jr. Key programs that were available at the market included: “My Family,” “Love Loss,” “Mis Videos Locos” with Paul Rodriguez, “Three’s Company,” “Ultimate Restorations,” “Animated Classics,” “As Time Goes By,” “The Academy” and “Too Close For Comfort.”
DLT Entertainment recently launched a new joint venture with leading international TV exec Alison Rayson, called DLT/Raydar Rights LLP. The company handles international distribution of finished programs and formats across all genres and will be the exclusive worldwide distributor of finished programs and formats for third-party producers and suppliers as well as being DLT’s exclusive distributor for the world excluding the US and UK.
