Fresh off collaborating on two high profile projects together, Adam Neustadter has joined the GOODCOMPANY roster to direct commercials and music videos for the NY/LA based production company. Neustadter just wrapped up a promo campaign for Mac Miller’s new reality show on MTV2 with GOODCOMPANY, as well as a music video for the pop-rock icons Hanson for their new song “Get The Girl Back,” featuring Kat Dennings and Nikki Reed. Neustadter’s reel includes directing campaigns and branded content for the likes of Verizon, Youtube, Incase, and MTV.
Coming up through the music video world, the LA-based Neustadter has worked for most major labels, countless indies, and Hollywood studios including Disney and New Line Cinema. In addition to his impressive commercial and music video output, Neustadter recently released his first feature film Julien & Claire, which was shot in France in July 2011. His work has been praised in various publications including The New York Times, Entertainment Weekly, and Pitchfork Media.
Influenced by The Beatles, Woody Allen, and the French New Wave, Neustadter creates compelling work that is smart and stylized, while maintaining a pop sensibility. His deep understanding of cinema and storytelling, combined with his passion for music, make Neustadter one of the most unique and well-rounded emerging talents.
“We’re thrilled to have Adam on our roster, as he’s been recommended to me several times,” says GOODCOMPANY Co-founder and Executive Producer Brian Welsh. “From the minute we started working together I knew this was a great match. Not only does Adam come up with amazing and beautiful ideas, he’s also one of the most sincere people I know, making working with him utterly rewarding and pleasurable.”
