New York-based production company The Colony has signed live action and design director Andreas Berner to its roster. He joins directors David Gaddie, Maria-Ines and Alex Smith.
The move reunites The Colony‘s EP, Angela Bowen and Andreas, who previously worked together at Mass Market where Andreas was a director and Creative Director.
“I was thrilled to have Andreas sign on with us, and when we worked together on his first job here, it felt just right,” said Bowen.
Andreas recently completed his first spot for HTC through The Colony. Formerly a Director and Creative Director at MassMarket, Andreas has previously directed spots for Hyundai, Jim Beam and Samsung where he combined his design and CG expertise with his live action directing skills.
Andreas brings his years of experience as CG lead and VFX supervisor at Mass Market, Psyop, Imaginary Forces and Trollback to The Colony, which also houses Afterparty, a VFX company within The Colony.
The Colony has offices in New York, Sydney and Shanghai.
