Award-winning design agency debuts all new HTML5 portfolio
This week eyeball launched their new website, presenting a stunningly simple and engaging new interface to browse the creative studio’s diverse and growing portfolio.
“The new site is a more compelling way to present case studies. We were inspired by simple reductive design used primarily for fashion magazines,” explains Founder and Executive Creative Director Limore Shur. “Beautiful images, clean typography and concise writing, as well as the ability to customize each page layout, give the site a distinct look and heightens user engagement.”
The need to show a wider range of work including print and digital campaigns, live action, and audio branding came to the forefront of the redesign. eyeball‘s client roster continues to grow, most notably as a creative partner for Kindle, Target and agency of record for New York Public Radio and New York Aquarium, among others.
“We’ve got a huge body of work to share,” explains Ben Spivak, Managing Partner and Executive Producer. “We can add to each project as it evolves, sharing everything from TV spots to billboards to original music in order for our clients to see the wide range of our talents.”
The website employs HTML5 and Javascript with a custom CMS. Development was led in-house by Creative Director Alex Moulton. “Creating a simple and elegant design that could translate across every device was really important to us,” explains Moulton. “The tablet experience is different from mobile but feels perfectly seamless and logical. It’s completely unique and we’re very proud of it.”

“ฦvolution” Comes Full Circle At The Chelsea Film Festival
The Chelsea Film Festival, running from October 16th through October 20th, 2024, at Regal Cinemas here in Union Square, is set to host the East Coast premiere of ฦvolution, a thought-provoking experimental micro-short film that proves big ideas can come in small packages and in perfect circles.
In just 1 minute 16 seconds, this cinematic gem by Award-Winning Director Romina Schwedler, with original music by Argentine Composer Ignacio Montoya Carlotto, explores a cycle as old as time: life leads to progress, progress leads to destruction, and destruction, well, leads back to life. But is this vicious circle unbreakable? ฦvolutionย suggests the answer is yes, unless we decide to open our eyes.
Inspired by the overwhelming number of recent events that threaten human existence,ย ฦvolution, possibly the shortest film in this 12th edition of the festival, plays out entirely through the symbolism of circles, cleverly illustrating โin the blink of an eyeโ the repeating patterns of history, and confronting viewers with the uncomfortable truth that our so-called โprogressโ may, in fact, be guiding us to our own ruin.Premiering at the Regal 14 Union Square, New York City, on October 18, 2024, at 11 a.m., Romina Schwedler's micro-short, featuring Leah Young with cinematography by Alan J. Carmona, will be sure to spark conversations longer than the film itself! Forcing viewers to reconsider the true meaning of evolution, not just as a biological process, but as a reflection of our collective journey as humans.
