Artists from CSS Studios‘ Todd-AO and Soundelux won two Emmy Awards for their work on the HBO series “Game of Thrones” in the 64th Emmy® Primetime Awards announced Saturday in Los Angeles.
A sound team from Soundelux won the Emmy® for Outstanding Sound Editing for a Series. Named in the award were Supervising Sound Editor/Sound Designer Peter Brown, Dialogue/ADR Supervising Sound Editor Kira Roessler, ADR Editor/Co-Supervisor of ADR Tim Hands, Foley Editor/Supervising Foley Editor Paul Aulicino, M.P.S.E., Sound Effects Editor Stephen P. Robinson, Dialogue Editor Vanessa Lapato, Foley Editor Brett Voss, Foley Artists James Moriana and Jeffrey Wilhoit, and Music Editor David Klotz.
Todd-AO Re-Recording Mixers Onnalee Blank, CAS, and Mathew Waters won the Emmy® for Outstanding Sound Mixing for a Comedy or Drama Series (One Hour). They shared the honor with Production Mixers Ronan Hill, CAS and Mervyn Moore.
Both awards came for the "Game of Thrones" episode Blackwater".
