The Hollywood Edge has released a new addition to its flagship collection, Premiere Edition, recorded entirely in high definition sound at 24-bit/96 kHz. The new release, comprising more than 24 GB of general sound effects, is the first installment of the Premiere Edition in HD, a comprehensive library of high quality, high definition sound effects designed for film, television, radio, video games and other media.
The Premiere Edition HD features all-new high definition recordings produced exclusively for The Hollywood Edge by award-winning sound designer Kamen Antanasov, creator of Sound Designer Tool Kit 2 and The Edge Edition 3. It includes many of the most commonly used types of sound effects including vehicles, impacts, crashes and machinery. The collection also includes sound effects for many types of technology, some of which did not exist at the time when the original Premiere Edition was created.
